In 2001 I took a computer graphics course at a local school,
learning the ins and outs of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe
Illustrator. This piece was created as a course assignment. It
is intended as cover art for an unpublished manuscript, a
retelling of a 12th century Icelandic saga about a young man who,
with the gift of a polar bear he acquired in Greenland, places his
fate in the hands of two warring Scandinavian kings.
