Although it was thirteenth century manuscripts such as the
Majieweski Bible that provided most of the inspiration for the two
pieces I created for "The Noblest Knight," this work in particular
is also a homage to the drawings of the great English children's
illustrator, Pauline Baynes, an artist whose creations I've
admired since childhood.
